Tom Schubring is the guy you want at your side if you need someone to bugle up an elk, rattle in a buck or coax a muskie from a Northwoods river. I don't know anyone more passionate about the great outdoors. His stories compiled from decades of outdoor adventures up north and out west will keep people in their seats and engaged. More importantly, Tom is also the guy you want at your side if you're hoping to awaken an audience of outdoorsmen and women to the glory of the Creator and the remarkable truth of the Gospel of Christ. Tom is not a hunter with a Christian spin. He is a pastor who loves the outdoors and knows God reveals Himself in special ways in the woods and waters He has made. During High School Camp
Beechpoint Christian Camp has benefited from Pastor Tom Schubring's long time participation/commitment with our ministry. He has brought numerous work teams and sent out a dozen plus young people to serve in our ministry to urban, under resourced, and at-risk youth. The young people Tom sent were prepared spiritually, and had a solid work ethic.
We have had Tom speak a couple of times at our Father/Son Mentor/Mentee follow-up retreats. He weaves in both comical and serious life stories along with solid Bible teaching to keep our guests engaged. Tom's creativity in sharing the Word makes it understandable and applicable to our men. He gets involved with guests both during teaching times and with camp activities.

The people of Green County know him as a man of integrity and good character. He has spoken to our congregation in both regular services and special events, and a number of times to the men of the church. His wonderful humor and plain spoken presentation of the Gospel truths, applicable especially to men, has made him a favorite of Grace Church.
